For families

Answers for the decisions that matter.

Beginning home care can feel unfamiliar. Here are clear answers to some of the questions families ask first.

Support can protect independence—not take it away.
01How do we know when home care may help?

Changes in meals, housekeeping, personal routines, mobility, memory, loneliness, or family caregiver stress can all be signs that added support would make daily life safer and easier.

02Do you require minimum shifts?

No. Tender Journey plans to offer flexible scheduling without a minimum-shift requirement, subject to caregiver availability and the needs identified in the care conversation.

03Do you provide skilled nursing?

No. Tender Journey provides non-medical home care. We do not provide skilled nursing, medical treatment, or services that must be performed by a licensed nurse.

04How is care paid for?

Tender Journey is private pay only at launch. We do not currently bill Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance.

05Where do you provide care?

We are preparing to serve families in Yuma, Washington, and Kit Carson Counties in Colorado.

06Can care be provided overnight or around the clock?

Yes. Overnight and coordinated 24-hour non-medical care are part of our planned services, based on caregiver availability and an individualized plan.

07Are you accepting clients now?

We are currently preparing for launch and completing the steps required to begin services. Contact us to join the interest list and receive updates.
